Direct advertising with Google Adsense
Looks like advertisers will soon have an option to advertise directly on your sites. According to Google: "Your content is valuable. And starting within the next two weeks, advertisers will be able to bid for placement on your site right from your web pages. With Onsite Advertiser Sign-up, a new feature of AdSense, your AdSense ad units will display an 'Advertise on this site' link that takes interested advertisers to a page which you can tailor for your business."
As an Adsense partner, there will be an option to opt out of this program. Here's some more info on Onsite Advertiser Sign-up.

Make money off of Adsense referrals
If makin' bank off of Adsense ad clicks on your site isn't enough for you, you can now make money from clicks off of OTHER people's Web sites. According to Google: "When a publisher that signed up for AdSense through your referral earns their initial $100.00 and is eligible for payout, we'll credit your account with $100.00."
You can get your referral code when you log into your account and click on the "Referrals" tab up top. There's also the ability to make money off of Firefox referrals (with the added side benefit of showing Micro$oft that we're not ENTIRELY dependant on them).
What's wrong with Google Analytics?
According to Garett Rogers in a ZDnet Blog, "Google has went from tracking zero to almost half a million in about a week" which has led to Google "temporarily [disallowing] people from signing up".
They've apparently stopped the signup at 234,725 Analytics accounts for the time being as Google must be feeling the impact of having so much data to crunch.
From what we've seen from others' Analytics reports, the interface is clean and the reports extremely robust. It's unfortunate that they're unable to keep accounts updated at this time. That said, we're looking forward to having all sorts of integrated keyword reports available to us when Google inevitably has their system up and cranking.
